the brain.

If you cover one eye completely with your hand, then shine a light into the uncovered eye, both pupils (covered & uncovered eye) will constrict.

intense.

graveyard.

It is 4 a.m. right now, I am currently on my lunch break. My friend working with me now just commented on how I am typing with one eye open.

So i am looking over my nutritional assesment of my diet of three days and have come across some pretty interesting facts...
1) A big mac and fries at McDonalds is definately healthier than a Double Double and fries at In n Out.
2) One order of Carne Asada fries (enough fries to fill a standard to go box) is 2,000 calories, and is almost two days worth of your recommended fat intake, as well as two days worth of everything else listed on standard nutrition labels. I find this quite disturbing because my sophmore year I went through this phase that lasted about one month where I ate an order of carne asada fries every day.
3) Diet pepsi has nothing in it, and taste better than regular coke.

A couple of other things I have noticed tonight while i was working...
1) some nurses do exactly the opposite of what I have learned is correct in nursing school.
2) TEADS hose are not only extremely comfortable, but an excellent way to promote venous return.
3) I programed my phone to turn itself off everyday at 4:00am, and to turn itself back on at 4:04am when I first got it. I have never observed it in the act until this very moment. I hope there is not an emergency in the next three minutes.

That is all. I shall return upon my fifteen minute break.

In four hours, I will have been awake for 24hrs, so be forwarned of the spelling/grammar errors to follow.

start.

Hello friends and family.  I am starting this "blog" because I recently found myself reading my cousin Elisha's blog and being quite interested and entertained at her different stories and experiences she posts on her blog.  I rarely get to see all my cousins because this nursing school thing/ me working Saturday graveyard has got me tied to san diego every waking second I have.  I figure because I can never make the parties anymore, and that i see some of my cousins have blogged on this site, (is that correct terminology? im new to blogging realm) this would be a good way to keep my fam informed about whats going on with my life, and a way for me to tap into whats up with them, seeing as how I can only make major holiday gatherings as of right now.

... I also got some pretty original thoughts, and was instructed by some friends to write a book about them.  I figure this is almost the same thing.

I work saturday graveyard at this hospital in about one hour, so until about 3:00am, (the time I assume I will finish my nutritional assessment assignment and maybe write another "blog"),  adieu.
